Hometown troubadour Jakota Wass will perform at the event that gives the Genoa Candy Dance its name.
Wass and Nashville musician John King will perform at the dinner dance 5-10 p.m. Sept. 23.
Catered by Bella Vista Bistro in Genoa Park, there will be a no-host bar and live and silent auctions.

Founded in 1919, Candy Dance is the annual fundraiser to support Nevada’s oldest settlement.
More than 30,000 people are expected to visit the arts & crafts fair in the town next weekend.
